no such thing as an itouchSay it with me: the Apple iPod Touch. Not the iTouch, there is no product made by Apple called the iTouch. Why do things like this bug me? Why can’t I just let it go? It’s not that I’m crazy anal retentive about everything like that. I frequently type quick emails completely ignoring case and punctuation. Doesn’t bother me. For the most part, I’m a pretty messy person. Not anal retentive about that. So why does it bother me when something with a particular name gets called something it isn’t? Or when people say they are anxious to do something they are looking forward to instead of eager. Or when people call the program they view PDF files with Adobe instead of Adobe Acrobat Reader (or recently Adobe Reader, as it’s name has changed, see there I go again). Any psych majors in the house willing to call me out? Tags: apple, ipod, itouch, touch Thursday, February 26th, 2009 at 6:15 pmand is filed under Random. I’m a psych major, but I don’t analyze friends. At least not out loud.

“iTouch” GRATES me like nothing else.
I work in a phone dealership, and people want iPhones but they come in asking for an iTouch, or an iPod Phone, or an AppPhone… the list is VERY long.
It is very tiresome, and I sympathise. I really do.

I completely agree. It pisses me off when i argue with people over that issue.

I’ve done work with Apple in the past and this drove me NUTS when consumers refer to them as iTouch.
